I'm a licensed Nurse in the Philippines and USA. My work experience that involves EHR and doing inbound/outbound calls with the patients are Medical abstraction, Utilization review, members outreach, pharmacy asst, customersevice. The purpose of the calls are mainly verifying/gathering information in regards with their physician visits, medications and lab request. Also providing pre authorizations, denials due to non coverage and offering program referrals that is beneficial to the patient.
