Healthcare Billing Specialist at Laboratory Corporation of America.
* Taking inbound calls for billing inquiries and concerns.
* Doing outbound calls for investigating and assisting caller's inquiries and concerns.
* Collecting payments and posting
* Setting up testing schedules for the patients.
* Verifying and filing insurance information, workers compensation claim and bankruptcy and sending claims to insurance companies for patient's bill coverage.
* Reviewing Explanation of Benefits and proof of payments and coordinating to other department for investigation.
* Processing refund and bill adjustment to patients and insurance companies.
* Billing patient, doctor's offices and insurance companies.
* Sending invoice bills, receipts, billing notices and letters to patient.
* Informing the patient with their insurance company's response and denial on the claim.
* Helping Doctor's offices updating diagnosis codes.
* Coordinating to doctor's offices the patient's lab and testing discrepancy and concerns.
