About Me
I know that some clients don’t read the "About Me" section of an application, but I want to thank you for taking the time to read this now. So, who am I?
I’m someone who dreamt of having a better life. I grew up in hardship, but I’m thankful to my parents because they were able to send me to school until 1st year of high school. Life was tough, so I worked hard to get a scholarship while also working at the age of 16. I’ve had various jobs like on-call waiter, mailman, sidewalk vendor, food vendor, mall promoter, real estate agent, barista, cook, extra in TV shows or movies, and more.
I graduated from high school as 3rd Honorable Mention, was the Student Council President, and a foundation scholar. Getting into college wasn’t easy due to financial challenges, but I pushed through. While working, I managed to study and secure a scholarship, studying Industrial Engineering at Adamson University up until my 2nd year. However, I had to stop because my mom got sick, and it became impossible to juggle school and support my family, especially since we were battling cancer.
The end of 2023 was particularly hard for me. Sadly, my mother passed away in December last year. It was difficult to bounce back, but I still tried. Darkness swallowed me, but I didn’t let it defeat me. I forced myself to get up and continue living, even though it was painful. Now, I can say that I’m one of the successful freelancers in the making. I have clients who trust me, and I’ve built a team of people working with me to reach not only my dreams but also to help others. So, I have just one thing to say: if I can do it, so can you.
