About Me
Hi! My name is Quendolyn Bendanillo, 24 yrs old living in Davao City, Philippines. I’m excited to share my journey as a Healthcare Advocate and Virtual Assistant. For nearly three years, I worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Pennsylvania in a call center set up where I gained hands-on experience in insurance verification, initiating authorization, claims investigation and provide resolution to concerns, that kept everything running smoothly for both insurance and providers side. Most recently, I transitioned into the role of a Healthcare Virtual Assistant at a Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Clinic based in Washington. This experience allowed me to take all those skills into a remote setting, providing support with tasks like patient intake, check-in patients, collecting payments, process referrals, building patient's chart, managing appointments, calling insurances, organizing medical documentation and monitor fax. I also helped with scheduling, calendar management, and other key administrative tasks helping lighten the load for busy providers and staffs!

Job Description
I provide administrative support to the physical therapy clinic remotely, assisting with scheduling, patient communication, record management, and other office tasks. My day-to-day task was to Check in with patient virtually, collect payments, and call their insurance company to verify eligibility and initiate prior authorization when necessary. I also schedule and reschedule patients, scrub digital calendar for both staff and doctors, monitor fax, and segregate records that need the doctors attention. Job Description
I am supporting providers with their patient's healthcare needs, guiding them through the insurance process, and ensuring that they have access to the care and services covered by their patients BCBS plan. Provide education, troubleshoot issues related to coverage, and act as a liaison between the member and healthcare providers or insurers. My day-to-day tasks are to take in calls and verify their patient's insurance coverage, quote benefits, check if their procedure codes require authorization, and check if their claims were received and processed.
