I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and also a USRN in State of New York. I worked in different BPO's company already, all international accounts. Previously CPO company that I've been with was with Access Healthcare, I am a Preauthorization Specialist for 3 years which I am doing outbound calls, reviewing patients chart and doing authorization via payers portal or via a phone call with the payer or TPA's. One of our tasks also is sending the clinical of the patients via fax whenever it is needed for further review. Last job was with a CPO company as well and my role is a Care Manager. My account was with Highmark. I am responsible in reviewing the patients clinicals and also checking if the patients conditions available in the chart meets the guideline or policy of the insurance. If it needs for further review we will refer it to the Medical Director.
